When was Jesus really born?
Most serious Bible students realize that Jesus was probably not born on December 25th. The shepherds had their flocks in open field, which implies a date prior to October. Furthermore, no competent Roman administrator would require registration involving travel during the season when Judea was generally impassable.
Here are some conjectures of when Jesus was born. Some scholars say The Star of Bethlehem may have been Venus and Jupiter coming together to form a bright light in the sky in June, some say it could’ve happened in the autumn and take make matters more confusing some say a group of other stars could have caused the bright light in spring! Unfortunately nobody really knows when Jesus was born.
