There are two types of reframing: content and context. A classic context reframing question is in what situation could this have value. For instance, she’s too talkative. What situation could being too talkative have value? Perhaps at a party, starting conversations, or a public speaker. Once a person is able to recognize that the behaviors actually are useful in some context you can stop judging it as bad and start focusing on how to get the results you want in the current situation.
